Indecisive...which camera??

I've decided it is time to upgrade to a nicer camera. I have LOVED my sweet little blue one, but now I'm moving on to the big world of DSLR. I don't need something super duper fancy, but something that takes quality pictures and will last a LONG time. Through my research I've found that the Canon EOS Rebel t3i looks like the best for my needs...but i'm calling on the help of my blogging buddies for advice. I know that many of you also have an alter ego as amazing photographers. Do you have a camera brand or style that you prefer? I would love for your to share your knowledge!!

P.S. Lately I have had an obsession with the Beach Boys (it must be summer.) Are any of you going to the Stadium of Fire on the Fourth? If so I'm insanely jealous and say hi to Brian Wilson for me!

  1. Are you kidding me? We could be best friends. I'm sure of it. I want a DSLR camera for my birthday coming up sooooo bad. But I don't think it's too realistic for me right now! AHHH. My mom is a photographer and she always prefers Nikons over Canons...but I personally don't know the difference to be honest. And button swap? Are you kidding me? Consider it done!

    ♥ xoxo.

  3. Great choice! And canon is seriously the best! Also after you get it, look into investing on the 50 mm/f 1.8 lens. Its about $100 and well worth it! It's better than any of the lenses that come with the camera. It doesn't zoom but will give you nice crisp pictures with a nice blurred background :)
